La Vida Panorama sits on a great overlook, is tidy and clean, but it’s clear there’s no owner looking after it. It lacks the warmth, guest interaction, and many other things you’d expect. The towels are old and torn, and there’s a lot of mineral buildup in the shower. If the nature weren’t so magical, I’d give a lower score.

I appreciated how the breakfast staff tried to accommodate everyone, offering orange juice and a few other items even though there weren’t many choices. The room itself was nice, and we could use the pool for free. From the far side of the property we could see a great view of the Danube floodplain, and the neighborhood was quiet. The only downside was the distance from everything; a car is essential if you want to explore. The place is ideal for unwinding, but if you’re looking for activities you’ll have to leave the hotel. They mentioned that the wine cellars are worth visiting, but we didn’t get a chance, so we’d love to return.

The staff and owner were fantastic—extremely attentive and pleasant to interact with. The hotel is situated in an area with little to do, so after about eight hours you’re done. Most of what you can see is already covered.
