“Very nice guesthouse for a very fair price, absolutely recommendable!”

I had a great time at Casa Pascual guesthouse in Tatajuba! It isn’t a pousada, so everything is pretty basic, but my room had more than enough for a guest house. It was super clean, the WiFi and air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bed was very comfortable. Rebecca and Sheila were great hosts; they’re friendly, helpful, and communication was always easy and uncomplicated. The price is super fair for what you get, so I can definitely recommend this place! :)

“Passez votre chemin !!”

We arrived at the hostel and no one was there; we waited an hour. We called the place, but no one answered, except someone who no longer manages the hostel and was in São Paulo. The place didn’t look like the photos, was poorly maintained and dirty. We had to find another hostel urgently because we couldn’t stay there. Luckily we had planned to arrive early, so we could get network in a nearby café! The old reviews on booking don’t reflect the current state. Sorry to say, but it looked like a squat.

The location is spot on, right in the heart of the action. But when the sun goes down, the place gets pretty dark and there's almost no staff around, which can feel a bit unsettling.

“A Casa Pascual tornou minha passagem por Tatajuba ainda mais especial”

Leaving Casa Pascual was a real pain, but that was only because I didn’t want to leave. Sheila was more than a host—she felt like a friend I’ll remember. The place is flawless: great location, stunning view, close to a market, bars, and little restaurants. The room is super comfy with a projector, fridge, private bathroom, and a window to watch the stars, plus I could cook and even meet the cats and dogs. I felt totally at home and would recommend it without hesitation.

“Petit paradis éphémère”

The spot is idyllic, quiet and tranquil—one of the rare places on the northern coast that still feels untouched by mass tourism. But there's no clear signposts to find it, and the owner seems to distance herself from responsibilities, leaving the manager to improvise. The minimalist vibe works for some, but not for everyone.
