The location is excellent, the apartment is on the third floor, so if you have difficulty climbing stairs I don’t recommend it. They clean every day, which I liked a lot.

Located 200 m from Piazza Tasso in Sorrento’s historic centre, DolceVitaSorrento Guest House features vibrant, air‑conditioned rooms with private balconies, flat‑screen TVs, free Wi‑Fi, and en‑suite bathrooms with hairdryers. The train station lies an 8‑minute walk away, while restaurants, bars and pizzerias are within 5 minutes. Boats to Ischia and Capri depart 750 m away, and buses to Positano and Amalfi stop at the nearby station.

The manager was phenomenal, offering tips, tricks, and business cards from highly rated past guests; he knew everything about the area and was ready to answer any question, making the overall experience great. We were only a 10‑minute walk from both the bus/train station and the coast. The only downside was a small ant invasion in an older home, not a 5* resort, and a mess of gelato cups left in the trash; the staff cleaned it up the next day and we made sure to wash any food containers before discarding them.

The location was very good, central to our interests, and the room was fine with a balcony that unfortunately faced the back of the building and surrounding buildings. The host was very detailed with directions but we felt he treated us like clueless Latin Americans; we’re seasoned travelers and have never treated a guest like that, nor have we been treated that way. The instructions were helpful but could have been shorter and without the disrespect. It might have been the host’s personality, but he needs to improve his demeanor. We’re unsure if other guests were treated the same way.
