This place is simply superb! Every detail fits: the tastefully decorated rooms, the location, the extraordinary breakfast, and the eye‑loving scenery no matter where you look. The owner, a Scottish lady, has a wonderful eye for everything and is personally present at breakfast to give helpful tips. It was our absolute best stop (out of 13) on our South Africa trip. Thanks to everyone there!

It was the ideal spot to be—never seen such beauty before, spot‑clean, spot‑cozy, spot‑delicate, truly wonderful, and the breakfast was incredible; I’m already dreaming of a return.

It smells nice and is very clean. The only downside is that it’s a farm, so there are a lot of insects outside.

The room was the most gorgeous, with the most beautiful mountain view from the terrace and a front row of wine racks. Morag and the staff were very friendly and offered excellent advice on restaurants and other stops. The heated pool and fabulous breakfast made the stay complete! Even if you don’t have a car or want to enjoy local wine recommendations, taxis are available; driving to and from town yourself is perfectly fine. It might just be one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed in!
