The reception was very friendly and the room was large enough with a comfortable bed, but the view faced a main street so traffic noise was naturally present; the windows couldn’t be closed because there’s no air conditioning, and the cleanliness in the bathroom and living area had some shortcomings.

We had a nice, spacious room with a Smart TV and the staff were friendly, yet when I tried to pay with a credit card—something I’d noted in the booking— the hotel insisted on card payment on site.

The location was great, the service friendly, the room tidy, and breakfast was good, but the stairs were a bit of a hassle.

Having a private entrance to the room is very handy so you don’t disturb anyone, and from the window you could see beautiful roses; the room itself is spacious, and the bathroom is practical with separate shower and toilet areas—most hotels have much smaller bathrooms. Across from the hotel is a bus stop that takes you to the ZOB and the train station, and a 5‑minute walk gets you to Penny; 400 m away is a lovely promenade with a restaurant and nice yachts.
