Days Inn by Wyndham Sarasota Bay

I was greeted warmly by the check‑in clerk, but the room had roaches crawling on the door and no bath towels or lampshade on the floor lamp. As soon as we turned on the lights, more roaches appeared. The clerk offered a room next to the infested one, which I refused; I asked for a refund and was told to move four rooms down, but I declined. We never stayed there, yet I keep receiving messages claiming I’m still occupying the room and possibly being charged. I sent a text to the Days Inn on Tamiami and have yet to receive any response or refund.

Check‑in was smooth and the staff were polite. However, the night clerk couldn’t provide the two towels we requested, and the bathroom was dirty.
