“So pleased we stayed here. Beautiful setting, fantastic host, delicious home cooked meals.”

The host, Chuo, welcomed us warmly and was friendly, and the chef made beautiful vegetarian breakfasts. We used Google Translate to communicate easily. The room was spacious, super clean, and had fresh flowers in the main areas, giving an elegant contrast to the brutalist concrete we love. The online photos match the house and room exactly. The bathtub in the room was massive, a real treat after hiking in Taroko Gorge. The only downside was the pillows on the bed—too large for my sleep style; an extra thinner pillow would be nice.

“Wonderfully charming with amazing hosts”

The property and room were amazing and absolutely beautiful. The hosts were fantastic, and the breakfast was unexpectedly interesting and delicious. The only issue was the lack of an elevator for bags, but that was fine for us.

The breakfast buffet was very generous and the ingredients were excellent. The bathtub was large but shallow, making it inconvenient to use, and because I’m particularly cold‑sensitive, the open shower space made me feel cold as soon as the hot water stopped.
