The location is very evocative, set in a lovely village far from the bustle. The castle feels welcoming, the rooms are beautiful, and the restaurant serves great food for both dinner and breakfast.

The hotel offered a solid range of facilities and a pleasant atmosphere, and the dinner was excellent for a very reasonable price; the nearby church’s museum was definitely worth a visit.

The building was beautiful, truly a castle, and the restaurant was very good; Mr Giuseppe was kind and professional. In the room we were first assigned there were faucet problems and no water, so after we complained they immediately switched us to a different room, which turned out to be lovely, welcoming, and with a stunning terrace.

The room was spacious and charming, with antique furnishings; the owners were friendly and delighted to share the castle’s history, and the son—front‑of‑house, server, and general helper—was amazing, a genuinely nice guy. The restaurant food was gorgeous, and the location offered breathtaking views. The internet was not great, but that didn’t bother us.
