The location was great, the courtyard charming, the old building full of character, and the family and staff were friendly; however, breakfast was not included in the room rate and was disappointingly sparse when ordered, and today’s standards are missing a TV, safe, bedside lamp, and sockets in the room.

The hotel is a lovely little spot right by the Alhambra entrances, with a cozy vibe and a fairly spacious room; the staff were fantastic and helpful, and the hotel's history was intriguing, though we only had a brief chance to ask about it. I’d love to return for a week. The only downside was the lack of a refrigerator—having one would have let us keep a few cold drinks for the evening, and a desk would also have been handy.

The location is great, perfect for visiting the Alhambra, and the staff are adorable. The room felt excessively hot and the air conditioning didn’t work properly.
