The hotel’s location at the start of the marathon was convenient, and it was great that they were in the middle of pool renovations but still managed to get it ready for us to use.

The spot’s location is solid, but the alley’s garbage dumpsters are a real eyesore and the lighting is awful. There’s no mini‑fridge or coffee maker, and the whole place just feels dingy.

I liked the location and the area has plenty to do, but for the price it’s not worth it—after paying a lot for the room you still have to shell out $50+ for parking. The room itself is cramped and someone even walked in while we were sleeping, waking us up as they opened the door.

The location was great and the room was spotless, but the fridge was missing and was actually sitting in the hallway. The building’s under construction, so the exterior looked sketchy. Parking was super pricey and there was no validation, but hey, it’s Chicago.
