Everything from the location to the structure, the stunning entrance, the spacious room and bathroom, the buffet breakfast, the excellent vegan cake with blackberry and elderberry, and the sociable staff who were happy to give us tips on nearby sights were fantastic. The receptionist even thanked us for recommending the Castel Monte, which was truly beautiful!

The hotel is mainly for weddings and events but also makes a great stopover near town. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was quiet and clean, parking was safe and free, and breakfast was good. There are many restaurants downtown, just a few minutes drive away.

The building is beautiful and well maintained. The surrounding area (access road and neighboring properties) is unfortunately very run‑down and dirty. The double room was a bit small and the bathroom was not very comfortable.
