The location, the rooms, the top‑class breakfast, and the hospitality of the staff—especially the lady who served breakfast and the very patient night receptionist—made everything perfect.
“Excellent accomodation”
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble; we had an early flight, so they gave us a breakfast pack to take with us and arranged a car to the airport. Nothing else was an issue; it was great.

The hotel is close to the center of Palermo. The corridors of the rooms have no air conditioning and the windows do not block noise. I stayed in room 304 and could hear street traffic, people talking, and cars, making it impossible to sleep. The bathrooms are old, with antique fixtures and rusty taps. The shower enclosure is tiny and a strong person cannot fit inside; its glass protection was broken. At 8.30 am on one day there was no hot water, so we had to shower with cold water. The breakfast room is very small with few tables. The breakfast itself is very simple: a type of ham that is very salty, slices of cheese, a hard mortadella that I couldn’t taste, one or two types of bread—almost always just white, the least healthy and cheapest option. A staff member serves coffee and cappuccino, all rationed; the juices are inedible. We stayed five nights and paid about a thousand euros, an exorbitant price for such a bad hotel.
