I booked a single night at White Apricot Lodge but ended up staying three nights; the staff were incredibly friendly and the reception was open all the time. They showed me around the city with great tips. I highly recommend it for solo travelers and backpackers. Thanks for having me; I’d definitely come back if I visit Hunza again.

I stayed in a quieter, more authentic part of the old town, and the garden and balcony were a dream, offering seasonal fruit and a very friendly, attentive host.
The location and atmosphere were spot on for a quiet stay in the heart of Altit, but the bathrooms were old‑fashioned and the electricity supply was unreliable.
