The place matched the photos and the host was very accommodating. However, the announcement states that reaching the house from the Abraão quay via the Lopes Mendes trek takes at least a good half‑hour, which is tougher with luggage. On rainy days the journey becomes even more difficult, and at night with rain it’s almost impossible. We weren’t fully prepared, even though it’s doable. Bringing an umbrella and flashlights would be wise.

An amazing stay at a charming spot with breathtaking nature. The hike up was rewarding, and I give it a solid 10/10. Nothing else to mention.

Me encantó la ubicación en medio de la jungla, pero al mismo tiempo cerca del poblado. 15/20 mins andando. No tenía suficiente rejillas antimosquitos

Nuestra estadía fueron 10 días. La pasamos muy muy bien. La casa es acogedora. El entorno muy tranquilo y natural. Se pueden ver mucha diversidad de aves y plantas. Super recomendable si querés alejarte del ruido del ruido del pueblo. Gracias Carole por tu amabilidad! Nos encantaría volver!!
