The place was clean, newly renovated, and the bathroom was nice. Staff were friendly, and the location was good. We couldn’t open the window for fresh air or natural light, and breakfast was poor—only tea, coffee, a few fruit slices, and one sweet bread.

The spot was great, just steps from the main plaza and perfect for walking around downtown. The house itself is beautiful and charming, not a luxury but offers good value. The valet service was disappointing: the attendant seemed offended by our tip and rudely told us to keep it, implying we needed the money more than he did, which was unnecessary and left a bad impression.

The spot is convenient, but there are plenty of other hotels nearby, so I won’t return to CasaLinda. The piano bar is obnoxiously loud, playing jazz for years at a volume that’s unbearable; they even open the double doors so the drummer can sit right in the common area. Staff members sit close by, shrugging and smiling while guests endure this terrible noise until at least 11 pm. I checked out a day early, yet I was still billed for the full stay.
