Hotel Citymaxx in Rostock features modern, barrier-free rooms with modern bathrooms and elevator access. Many rooms offer port views, and some have wired internet. The hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Alter Markt square and Stadthafen port, and the Petridamm tram stop is outside, connecting to Rostock Central Station in 10 minutes. The historic Nikolaikirche church is a 10-15 minute walk away.

With the tourist card, public transport is free, and the tram stop is close to the hotel. You can even ride all the way to Warnemünde. Getting to the hotel is very easy, and the staff are friendly.

Kleines sauberes Zimmer für kurz entschlossene Übernachtung in Rostock, freundliches Personal. Fahrradschuppen ließ sich nicht öffnen, leider hab ich es erst nachts festgestellt, als kein Personal im Haus war. Hab es draußen angeschlossen, ging auch

Check‑in went smoothly and everything was explained well. The bed was very narrow and not enough for us. When we arrived at 23.30, there were no free parking spots nearby, so we couldn’t really sleep. The mattress was hard, so two people couldn’t relax because every movement shook the partner. The toilet flush is very loud.
