A magnificent building that instantly feels historic, soothing, calm, and bright; William welcomed us warmly, was very responsive and organized, the room was very comfortable with perfect bedding, we enjoyed a succulent meal worthy of a Michelin star from Liette and Lotte, and a hearty, generous breakfast; we’ll give it four stars.

Everything was calm and original, from watching the pony‑squirrel tour to being woken by a cuckoo, and the breakfast featured local products.

The squirrel show at breakfast was a real treat, and the place itself is quiet with the different rooms spaced nicely apart. I’d even stay in the caravan during winter because the heating works well. No complaints.

The welcome was very good, with helpful visiting advice, and the location is superb. My vehicle stayed in the parking without any bother, and breakfast was delivered on time, plentiful, and made with fresh local ingredients.
