The location and design are good, the room is fairly comfortable and breakfast was decent; the staff were friendly but spoke limited English. They never cleaned my room, not once in two weeks, even after I asked more than once, and left someone’s dishes outside for several days.

The staff tried their best, but not everyone spoke English. The rooms were old, dirty and run-down, with stains on the armchair, damp spots on the ceilings, cobwebs, and a very, very old carpet with stains.

Being close to Jiyū Square and in the heart of Ulaanbaatar made the location very convenient. The bathroom fixtures showed their age and were a bit off‑putting, though they didn’t ruin the stay, and the bath towels and robes were also old, so future guests should keep that in mind. The sheets were clean, so there was no issue there.
