The central spot in Gallipoli’s historic heart was a big plus, but the outdoor area felt cramped and uninviting, especially compared to the photos which looked bigger and nicer. The owner only speaks Italian, so getting messages across was a bit harder.

The location in town was great, and parking at the port’s paid lot cost €10 a day. The host was friendly, and the cakes were super tasty 😁. However, the room’s soundproofing was poor and the neighbors were very noisy.

Soggiorno indimenticabile!!! Se avete pensato di trascorrere qualche giorno a Gallipoli dovete assolutamente prenotare al b&b Corti Carmela. La posizione è ottimale, in super centro e, allo stesso tempo, anche silenziosa: un piccolo angolo di paradiso. La colazione è davvero super gustosa grazie ai dolci buonissimi preparati in casa personalmente da Salvatore (l'host del b&b) e alla frutta di stagione raccolta freschissima a km 0. Salvatore è gentilissimo e disponibilissimo quasi h24 , vi accoglierà con la sua gentilezza, cordialità e simpatia. Il b&b è molto curato nei dettagli , pulizia ed eleganza. Che dire, ci mancherà!!!

The location is great and the breakfast is fantastic, especially the cakes and pastries made by the friendly, very cordial manager Salvatore—top recommendation!
