The place is spot‑on for exploring Kanazawa, sitting right between the machaya district and just a short walk from Kenrukoen and the castle. You can bring your own groceries into the lounge, and there’s a hot‑water dispenser and microwave oven available. The real highlight is the spa with its sauna and Japanese hot bath, and the booking slots are generous enough to really enjoy it. The staff are warm and helpful, and there are plenty of small restaurants nearby. A solid spot worth recommending.

The station and main sights are within walking distance, and the hotel itself is clean with enough facilities to meet basic expectations. The only downside was the bed, which felt too firm for me and made it hard to fall asleep.

The staff were courteous and quick to respond, which was great. However, the lighting layout was poor; a light hanging over the corridor shines directly through a gap in the partition and hits the pillow area in the bedroom, forcing the light straight into my eyes and ruining the experience.
