The location was great, and the breakfasts and staff were good. However, the rooms were cold because the air‑conditioning system didn’t work properly.

The place was clean and breakfast was included, but there was no blanket and the thin duvet that was provided wasn’t enough to stay warm, so I had to sleep with a sweatshirt on. There was also no fridge in the room.

The room cost 70,000 tenge for a night, which is almost 170 dollars. There was no bathrobe; when I asked for one, they said I’d have to pay extra.

We loved everything: the crew, the breakfast, the room was very comfortable and clean, and the location was very good, so I recommend this hotel to everyone; it’s the best in Almaty.
