The location, facilities, and cleanliness were perfect. However, some staff didn’t respond to simple requests unless I repeatedly asked politely. I would have liked a bit more accommodation and leniency.

The sauna was great; it should be shown with pictures on the website.

The location was fabulous, and from our window we even caught part of the Almabtrieb parade. I liked the separate toilet and shower rooms when we were two occupants. The sofa‑bed wasn’t very comfortable, and both beds had visibly yellowed duvets, which was very disappointing. Parking was across the street, so bringing luggage along cobblestone sidewalks, up ramps, and then steps into the hotel was a hassle.

The hotel was large, clean, and comfortable, and it felt very quiet with an end‑of‑season vibe. The restaurant was busier than the rest of the hotel, clearly popular with locals and offering good value. Breakfast was good and the room comfortable. The few staff we saw were friendly and efficient. There wasn’t much atmosphere, and we had breakfast in splendid isolation each morning, but that was our choice for this time of year.
