The bed was comfy and the kitchen had plenty of supplies, while the bathroom amenities were excellent and there were many thoughtful extras. However, the main room could use a rug, felt a bit cold and uncomfortable, and the couch wasn’t very supportive; a nicer chair would help. Noise from the shared door with the main house was noticeable, so better insulation would improve things.

The location was convenient and easy to get to, but the lack of an air conditioner was a major drawback.

The place was very clean, spacious, and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen, however, was missing a few basics like a frying pan, a toaster, and some hand and dish towels.

There were many thoughtful amenities and the guest house was clean and in a safe, great location. Still, there were no pots and pans, no paper towels, no toaster, or kitchen towels, so the kitchen wasn’t fully stocked for cooking—something I normally look for in rental houses. I messaged the host but didn’t receive a response.

The guesthouse was new, beautifully decorated, and well maintained. The toiletry items were plentiful, showing the owners’ thoughtfulness, and the location was excellent—just a short drive to downtown and Stanford. The downside was that, despite having a full kitchen with stove and oven, there were no pots, pans, or cooking utensils.
