The room came with a fan, TV, and a hot shower, and there was a clear divider between the bed and the bathroom area. The mornings were very peaceful, and there’s a café where you can order food or drinks. Some of our rooms didn’t have a TV remote, so we couldn’t change channels. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, so you have to be careful when going up or down. We also found ants and other insects in our room.

The noise from a loud compressor or other electrical equipment behind the wall made it impossible to sleep the whole night, and the room we were assigned was wrong. There was a cigarette smell, no toilet paper, and the owners threw a loud party with screaming children and barking dogs until 2 am. The staff seemed indifferent and didn’t react to any of these issues. I left after one night and would like a partial refund. The complaint function didn’t let me finish the process.

After a long motorbike ride from Singkil, the location was fine. However, there was no toilet paper or toiletries, it was very noisy, and the restaurant started a karaoke session at 6 am. Soundproofing was non‑existent, and motorbikes kept coming until well after midnight.

The room was spacious and the staff were friendly. On my second visit, I was bitten by a corn‑derived insect named Charlie.
