The mobile home was perfectly placed in a quiet, beautiful setting and the owner was extremely friendly and responsive. However, the owner warned us to keep the bracelets on because the campsite had issued a general reminder that morning; with five of us in the mobile home and two more in a tent we should have had seven, yet the reception only handed three bracelets to my husband who arrived earlier, forcing us to go back and collect the missing ones. The “l’échappée verte” owner is lovely and gives good advice, but the campsite needs to tidy up its bracelet distribution.

The portable air‑conditioner worked well, but there were no cleaning supplies for short stays.

The mobile home was far from clean, the ad was misleading about air‑conditioning—it was just a portable unit with windows that wouldn’t open, so during the heatwave it ran for four hours straight and still couldn’t cool the room, forcing me to keep the door ajar for the hose; the trash bin was broken on arrival, the lady said it was fine but there was no lid to keep waste out in the scorching heat, cats roamed everywhere outside, the accommodation was not very clean, and there was no pool at the campsite, just a large bathtub.

“Très bien, juste quelques améliorations à prévoir.”

The location of the mobile home is great – right across the river and not far from the pool (you can’t hear it). The terrace is very enjoyable. Information was clear. The camp offers many activities. We had a very good time. Some small details could be improved, but that didn’t spoil the overall stay.

There was a lot of dust, especially under the beds, which is a problem for asthmatics. The mattresses in the small room had sand on them, and a stool was broken.
