It's odd that this place has such a high rating, and I suspect something shady might be happening. Some key moments from our stay: * I couldn't pin down a price; the owner messaged me on WhatsApp to offer a jeep tour and then stopped talking when I asked for a cost. * I woke up a few days before our arrival, but every time I tried to confirm a price he changed his mind, raising it for silly reasons like telling him we were 4 people when we were only 2, come on man. * When we met, he outlined the plan which included lunch; I asked if lunch was part of the agreed price, and he said no, it's an extra 10 JD each, so I declined. * The camp feels very unfriendly; all the staff are men who sit in the middle and chat while guests awkwardly sit around them and eat dinner. * When it was time to pay, surprise surprise he had no change even though he insisted on cash, wanted to keep the £20 extra, and only later found some change. There are many camps in Wadi Rum, and you can do better than this place.
