Núcleo de Turismo Rural Valle de Iruelas, Las Cruceras, is nestled in Valle de Iruelas Nature Reserve, near Burguillo's Reservoir. The rural houses offer rustic décor, 2 bedrooms, private bathrooms, kitchenettes, and seating areas with sofas and TVs. Washing machine and firewood provided. Ávila is 30 minutes' drive, Madrid and Toledo 1 hour.

I loved the setting of the resort, close to nature and right next to the Burguillo reservoir; the cabin felt cozy and the owners were very friendly, but I’d have preferred the second room on the ground floor instead of on a steep staircase.

The location and the staff’s treatment were excellent.

The surroundings were nice, and the proximity to the reservoir was great, but the house was missing essentials—no extra towels, no dishcloth, no tablecloth, no kitchen utensils like scissors, no toaster, the living room lacked décor and cushions, and the worst part was having no water from morning until evening due to a breakdown, with no bottled water or bill discount offered.

The accommodation’s location was good, but it smelled like cigarette smoke and I didn’t like that they allowed smoking inside.
