I booked just one night and after a relaxed time here, I stayed four more days. It’s perfect for adventurous travelers seeking tranquility. The owner, staff, and volunteers were all very helpful and friendly, with no complaints at all. I’d definitely recommend this place.

“Good private room”

The private room was spacious and came with its own bathroom. Water was free to refill, and hot water was available for coffee and tea. The staff were lovely, and they even assisted with an early checkout. Nothing else to add.

The location was good. However, cleaning was lacking; there were many small frogs in the kitchen and bathroom at night, and some were dead.

“Smelly and disgusting room”

The location was fine and the staff were friendly. The major issue was the strong smell in the room and hallway, caused by cats the owner keeps at the hostel. They were also loud and screamed near the doors frequently. When I mentioned the smell to a staff member, she said she couldn’t do anything because of the cats. Upon entering our room, we found a moldy cookie with a trail of ants. After removing the cookie ourselves, the ant trail disappeared, but ants remained in the room. The bedsheets and pillows didn’t look or feel clean, and the blanket provided was minimal, not a standard duvet with filling. On the last day, we discovered mouse droppings in the bathroom, indicating mice were present. All of this made us uncomfortable. I don’t recommend this place when there are plenty of better hostels nearby.

“Nice people just need a good clean”

The staff were really nice and the location was also very good. However, there was no toilet roll in the toilet, and the room itself felt unclean.
