We loved everything. It’s the best hotel among all we’ve visited. We felt at home. They served dreamy dinners beside a 10‑meter pool garden. We even saw a wild elephant next to the hotel. They arranged the Safari to Minneriya for us. Nothing we didn’t like.

The hotel's architecture is truly stunning, but unfortunately, it's let down by the presence of dogs at the breakfast table. I'm an animal lover, but these dogs were stinky, and it wasn't ideal while eating. It's a shame, because the building itself is a work of art.
