The garden around the little hobbit‑style cabin is clearly a labor of love – there’s a wooden house, a hot tub, a sauna, a grill and a few scattered spots to just unwind. It feels like a private oasis right in the middle of Waterloo, perfect for a quiet break.

We were greeted with genuine warmth and found the setting truly restorative. The wood‑fired sauna, jacuzzi, gas plancha and another fire‑lit lounge area made the stay feel like a mini‑spa, while the tiny house itself was tastefully decorated and the sleeping nook was especially snug. Everything was arranged so we could relax from start to finish – a top pick for nature and wellness fans, thanks to Blanche and her husband for the thoughtful touches.

The garden is pleasant, but the room itself is cramped – tiny bed, cramped bathroom and no room for even a small suitcase. It felt odd, though I managed fine for a single night; I probably wouldn’t book again for a longer stay.
