From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and immersed in farm life—Robert even greeted us at our car while leading a horse to the stable! He and Carolyn are entertaining, caring, and fascinating. We stayed in an upstairs room (Grandmother’s, I think) decorated whimsically, with a huge bath down the hall for our private use and amazing views of the paddocks and mountains. After a night out, the hosts were finishing dinner and invited us to join them; I enjoyed leading Carolyn’s pony around the arena while we chatted. It was a wonderful experience, though we only stayed one night—wish we had more time and will return.

This property is wonderful to stay at; the proprietors are lovely and make you feel right at home, and the views are incredible—we wish we’d found Clover Hill years ago.
