The room was much better than I expected – large, with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. It’s close to the railway station and there are a few decent places to eat nearby (we didn’t try the restaurant, but it looked okay). The room was well sound‑proofed, so there was no outside noise, and there were tea‑making facilities in the room. It was fine for the money, but the net curtains were torn and dirty and could be replaced.

The stay was comfortable and the hotel is very close to Pathankot Railway Station and the bus stand. It’s highly recommended for families who want a place near the station or bus stand. The hotel facilities were great and the food was tasty. Room service could use improvement; I had to call multiple times to place an order or check its status.

The morning receptionist was kind, but I arrived at 5.00am and had to knock for a long time before anyone opened the door; the two men at reception gave me a room with a broken lock and left. Even after emailing them about my safety concerns as a solo female traveler, I felt scared in the dark hotel early in the morning and couldn’t sleep or use the toilet because I feared someone could enter. I had to bring a chair and a bag, and when I tried to call the tourist number in India it was too early. The stay was terrible. At 7.00am, when the lights finally came on, I could leave the room and the man at reception was kind, but they should have made more effort for a female traveler arriving that early. If I had known, I wouldn’t have chosen this hotel.
