The old house was beautiful, spacious, and tastefully furnished with modern fixtures. It’s within walking distance of the Cobb Heritage Centre, town centre, restaurants, and easy walks. The host was exceptional—warm welcome, helpful advice, and they accommodated our requests beyond expectations. The home‑cooked breakfast was wonderful, and parking was available.

Wow! Staying at Inver was such a memorable experience. Marie greeted us so warmly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for, even helping with our laundry. Later Joe stopped by for a quick hello while we were sipping wine in the living room. Our huge bedroom had a very large, comfortable bed and the en‑suite was beautifully decorated with stunning tiles. Everything was spotless, with beautiful furniture and heavy block‑out drapes. The heated towel rack was appreciated. We relaxed in the living‑room, which was open to guests and even had a baby grand piano. We had delicious, plentiful hot breakfasts, plus granola and stewed fruit with Greek yoghurt in the grand dining room. The plunger coffee was very good too. Marie gave great restaurant suggestions and helped us plan our train trip into Cork City. She couldn’t do enough for us, and we loved our time there. We laughed, sang an Irish song together when I played the piano, and there were hugs all around when we left. We have many happy memories and highly recommend staying at Inver—it was such a treat!

We just wanted a room for the night but ended up with so much more. Maire and Jo were fabulous hosts very friendly and made you feel right at home. The house was beautifully set up, quality furnishings, super comfortable bed, and the breakfast was amazing. Easy and lovely walk into the village lots of choice for dining. We loved it. Nothing to dislike
