Our first time staying in a treehouse turned out to be a fascinating and pleasant experience; everything was beautifully set up and well maintained. In the evening we built a fire and roasted sausages. We realized we missed having running water the most in this type of accommodation, though it’s not a complaint, just an observation about our usual water use. We couldn’t get the fridge to work despite several attempts and rereading the instructions; the gas seemed to be on (we could smell it) but the fridge stayed warm. Still, we didn’t need it much for the single night.

“Beautiful place for the adventurous, but cooking was a challenge.”

The novelty was amazing, the room was beautiful and the location was charming, and even the outhouse was clean and comfy. We could never get the fridge to work, the stove was a hassle because only one burner worked after a lot of trying, and the directions on Booking were very, very wrong.

“Nádherný únik do přírody”

The accommodation looked exactly like the photos—beautiful and clean, with plenty of prepared firewood under the treehouse so it stayed dry even in the wet. Since our stay was in February, there were hardly any people, just a few dog walkers passing by. Romance was enhanced by the stove heating, and we’d love to return. We arrived at night and the property wasn’t lit at all. The electricity runs on a car battery, so you have to conserve it, but it can be managed nicely.

I was enchanted by the beautiful location and the well-equipped setup - everything I needed was at hand, and I would have happily stayed longer. The approach via the dirt road wasn't a problem, as long as you were prepared for it.
