Hôtel Du Leman

The hotel is well‑located, the reception staff are friendly and the place is clean! However, the value for money is off; it's pricey for what it offers. The fridge was broken, the desk was wobbly, there were no coffee pods in the morning and the sound insulation is poor. I had to wait 15 h to check in because the rooms were under renovation, so I couldn't nap in the afternoon due to the work. In short, I expected better. I was given two single beds pressed together even though I had requested a double bed as planned.

“Un emplacement idéal, mais un séjour en demi-teinte”

The room and bathroom were clean, the bedding comfortable, and the location was ideal, practically opposite the Folies Bergères. The downside was an unpleasant pipe smell in the bathroom and a breakfast of very poor quality.

The location is central with restaurants, cafés and supermarkets nearby, and the kitchen supplies coffee and filtered water. The room was very small, the building seems very old, the floor is slanted, and a constant hydraulic noise comes from the roof. The room was not comfortable enough, lacking sufficient wardrobe and a nightstand. We stayed four nights; the room was only set up and when we requested trash removal it was not done and the towels were not changed. Towels were just folded and put aside. The housekeeper even took my own bath towels, unfortunately. One of the pendant lights was not working, and there was no glass in the room. It was a nightmare.

“Greta location, wonderful staff”

Great location, between three metro stations for easy access to Paris. The staff were lovely, and I enjoyed the coffee and tea station downstairs. The elevator was accessible. The walls and ceilings were very thin, so I could hear everything from my upstairs neighbours, which made sleeping a bit difficult. The beds could use a topper.

The breakfast was fairly varied. The location was convenient for reaching any part of the city. The room was on the ground floor, next to reception, and faced the street where at night there were many people chatting. It seemed patched up at the last minute even though it had been booked nine months ago.
