The welcome, the kindness of Marianne and Martina, the cleanliness, the plentiful and good food! Unfortunately, during that period a new house was being built next to the pension and the construction site was noisy.

The people working there were really friendly, and the breakfast was solid – plenty of everything and always enough for us. The spot was spot‑on for all the activities we had planned, so we didn’t have to travel far at all.

We really enjoyed the surroundings, especially spotting the deer around the property. Nothing else gave us any trouble, so it was a smooth stay overall.

This privately run place sits in an amazing spot – countless trails for hiking or biking are just a short walk away. Our host, Marianne Pfannhauser, was warm and helpful, always ready with a tip or two. The fresh breakfast each morning was exactly what we needed after a good night’s sleep, and the balcony offered nonstop views of the Loferer mountains, day and night.

The location itself was great, right where we wanted to be. Unfortunately the rooms stayed pretty warm and the pillows were a bit too soft for my taste, which made it hard to get comfortable at night.
