The room was huge and pleasant, complete with a private shower and toilet. It’s a shame the breakfast is no longer offered, especially after reading past comments that made me want to try it.

The location is great – you can bike, bus, or walk into town in no time. Free public parking is right outside the door on the street. The room was quiet and clean, and communicating with the host was straightforward. We stayed in the off‑season, so it felt a bit deserted and somewhat untidy. Breakfast was just a drink packet, a small cake, and instant coffee to brew in the room.

The room was clean and the bedding was good quality. But it felt like a guest house without an actual host – you’re left feeling abandoned even though you can call the person on the phone. It’s located in a craft area near abandoned lots. The breakfast was very light and of poor quality. The toilets are shared, which wasn’t mentioned on the Booking site.

I was disappointed because there was no decent breakfast offered, even though it was advertised; we had to settle for two small packaged croissants and two mini cookies. There was also yogurt in the hallway fridge, something we weren’t told about beforehand. We sat all morning waiting for breakfast, to no avail. We didn’t know about the communal toilet in the hallway either, yet the description said “with private bathroom,” so we expected a private toilet. The bed had several rust spots. The hallway and stairwell were filthy, covered in dust and grime everywhere. Never again!

The building itself feels really original. Unfortunately, there was no proper breakfast; just some packaged items, a bit of fresh fruit, yogurt, and instant coffee, and the capsule machine didn’t work. There were also no plates.
