Free parking, good breakfast, everything clean! It’s a bit off the beaten path, but we knew that beforehand. The furnishings are partly old, the coffee is too weak for our taste, and the restaurant’s food prices are clearly too high (we’re food professionals). Ordering bread for the soup costs an extra €0.60—please? The schnitzel at €28 is over the top. Is the remote location being exploited? Drink prices are reasonable.

A quiet oasis close to the state capital Magdeburg, the location is truly great on the edge of a peaceful village and right in nature. We enjoyed walking the dog and the tranquility. The beds were very comfortable. The “topping‑off” was the extremely friendly and always helpful staff! We were welcomed so nicely, and even though the restaurant was very busy, we still got a table, were well advised on food and drinks, and ate deliciously. We felt very comfortable. The only downside was that we wish we could brew coffee in the room.
