The hotel is close to the bus station but far from the city centre, so you need your own transport. We booked a bungalow but had to cancel because the area is hilly and it’s hard to climb up from the bungalow – we’re elderly. Even getting from the hotel to the city is tough; the slope is 45 degrees and taxis won’t go there because the alley is narrow. We checked into a shared house. During the week we were alone, but on weekends there were many people. The housekeeper is excellent and helps with everything. The house is clean, hot water is always available, and the terrace view is very beautiful. There’s no air‑conditioning; it was fine in March but will be a problem in summer. Our neighbours, when they left, took our fridge contents with them, but that’s not the hotel’s fault – let them get a karma penalty.

I'm still trying to figure out how this place got good reviews. The chalet with air conditioning didn't even have one, just a useless bracket. It was disgustingly dirty, with wet and moldy toilet paper and a leaky shower that was "fixed" with a simple seal. I checked out and booked a different hotel that was way cheaper and a million times better.
This place is literally right next to the alpine coaster, which was a huge bonus for me. It's also super quiet and peaceful, which is exactly what I was looking for. The only downside is that the road in is a bit tricky to find, but that's a small price to pay for the tranquility.
The room was a total letdown. No window to let in some fresh air, and the ventilation system was basically non-existent. To make matters worse, they didn't even provide basic amenities like water or snacks. It was like they expected guests to magically appear with everything they needed.
“Nice home stay in a beautiful town!”
The view from the hotel's hill was absolutely stunning, and the huge wall-to-wall window with a seating area nearby was the perfect spot to take it all in. The hostess was also incredibly kind and welcoming, and the room was spotlessly clean. But there was one major issue - the towels were made of some weird synthetic material that didn't absorb water at all, making it impossible to dry off properly.
