The hotel sits next to a convent, part of which is in ruins (not visited), in a small hamlet beside a stream surrounded by forest. The room was very cozy, very clean, and well equipped. We appreciated the welcome at arrival, the evening service, and the breakfast buffet. There is also a 22 kW charging station (2 sockets) on the hamlet square. The downside was the lack of friendliness from the person in charge of breakfast and the reception at departure.

The restaurant staff were fine. We had been looking for a stay with charging options, so we asked if we needed to reserve a spot. No, it was a public spot next to the hotel, and there was no further information. At arrival we were told, “Here is the key, end of the hall upstairs.” “Can we reserve for the restaurant? No, we don’t do that.” And then they were gone. The restaurant staff helped us, and other guests seemed to have reservations. When we asked about breakfast time, the service said, “Did you not reserve a time? No, nothing was requested.” They arranged it then. The car was at the charging station. The next morning we left with a full car. “It cost 120 € to charge.” While traveling we were told what was charged through our charging card. It turned out to include a 90 € block rate. The hotel gave no tip, warning, or notice. When we raised the issue, they threw a bag of gravel over us, claiming they couldn’t do anything and it wasn’t their responsibility to provide such hospitality. They could have said, “Thanks for the info, we’ll warn future guests.”
