We loved our stay: the rooms were spacious, the pool amazing, and the owner generous and kind; we even rebooked. The surroundings were lush, green, peaceful, with beautiful nature and no construction or disturbances. Highly recommended, with no complaints.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful villa: it’s very new, spotless, spacious, well equipped, with a lovely inner courtyard and a peaceful nature‑surrounded location perfect for relaxing, yet Ubud center is still easy to reach by scooter. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always easy to contact, sharing a lot about Balinese culture and traditions, making our stay even more special. Everything was perfect, and we would definitely stay again.

We had a very pleasant stay at Maha Gunung Ubud Villa, impressed by warm hospitality and excellent value. The villa is about 10 minutes from Ubud center in a quiet area away from noise and busy streets, great for relaxing, but its quiet, slightly secluded location means no restaurants, shops or convenience stores within easy walking distance, so we used Grab motorcycle rides for meals or groceries; Grab is inexpensive and convenient, so this was not a major problem. What made our stay special was the hospitality of the owner and his mother, both exceptionally kind and welcoming; his mother greeted us with fresh coconut drinks, and throughout our stay they were friendly, helpful and attentive. We would highly recommend Maha Gunung Ubud Villa to travelers who prefer a peaceful stay over being in the middle of Ubud’s busy center; if you don’t mind using Grab or a scooter, this is a very comfortable, excellent‑value accommodation with genuinely warm, personal hospitality. The only minor issue was that the toilet was a little loose and wobbled when used; it would be great if this could be fixed.

Super quiet, away from all Ubud noise and traffic, with easy access via a quick scooter ride or Grab app; the family was beautiful, helpful, and friendly, and when I had a big stain on some shorts they took them to the cleaners right away.
