Located near the NEC, Birmingham International Airport, and M42, it serves English cuisine with vegetarian and gluten-free options, alongside a pub with real ales and a sports bar.

It was near the NEC that we were visiting. Very tatty with peeling paint, lots of marks on the walls, and double glazing with broken glass; it needs a refurbishment. The bedding was very poor quality, scratchy and rough.

The staff were all very helpful, cheerful, and appropriately friendly. Cheaper parking.

Beautiful Country Hotel but close to the NEC, comfy beds and good facilities, friendly staff, and the food was great—no complaints. Excellent value for money considering it’s 10 minutes from the NEC, the airport, and the international station; highly recommend and will stay again. No air‑con in the room, but to be honest that’s not an issue because the windows opened onto a lovely beer garden with a good breeze.

Breakfast was good, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly. I stayed in room 228, an oddly shaped room where I banged my head twice because of the sloping ceiling—it seemed like the room was an afterthought. I didn’t know I’d have to pay £10 per night for parking, and then I saw a notice that NO responsibility would be taken for break‑ins or damage to the vehicle—how can you take £10 for nothing?
