I spent a wonderful weekend at B&B Placidia; the spot is good, not too far from the center and main historic sites, yet in a quiet area. The room was clean, welcoming and stylishly furnished. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh homemade items. What really set it apart was the owners’ kindness and readiness to give us excellent tips about Ravenna, making us feel at home right away. Definitely recommend it.

A very cozy and well-equipped B&B within walking distance of the train station, run by very friendly people – highly recommended for solo travellers! Everything was great :-)

The spot’s location is ideal for exploring the city’s historic monuments. There are plenty of paid parking spots at 2 euros per day, free on weekends. We stayed for 2 days and were the only guests in the apartment, which is probably not always the case, as the owner told me I was lucky to be alone. Yaon also asked us not to open other kitchen cabinets, except one that had appliances for two people. The washer and dishwasher cost extra. The bed was comfortable. I’m not sure how it feels if you’re not alone, but we were alone so we liked it.
