“Wunderschönes Hotel mit Schloss Charakter und tollem Frühstück, super Zimmer mit schönem Balkon”

The property looked like a castle with cats in the garden. The rooms were huge, with balconies, and everything was very clean and nice. The shower lacked a divider, a common sight in Albania. The bed was huge and comfortable, so we slept wonderfully. The breakfast was the best – classic Albanian and super tasty. Everyone was always friendly and helpful. We would stay there again and fully recommend it. Since we arrived late at night in the dark, we had trouble finding the path from the parking lot to the hotel because it wasn’t well lit and we missed the small bridge over the parking area. Once we found it, everything was fine.

The castle‑like decor and the very accommodating host were great. Unfortunately, the air‑conditioner couldn’t be set to a colder temperature.

“Ruhiger Ort mit viel Charme und Potenzial”

We stayed for one night while passing through and enjoyed a very quiet, relaxed afternoon and evening right in nature. After booking, we were contacted via WhatsApp and received helpful arrival information. There is a parking lot accessed by a steep driveway from the entrance; don’t trust Google‑Maps because it initially led us toward a waterfall. The host’s hospitality was especially warm: she cooked a tasty vegetarian dinner that evening and, on the next morning, even offered breakfast at 8 am despite our early departure. The setting is beautiful, right in the middle of nature, giving it a lot of charm and potential. However, we feel that potential isn’t fully realized. The many fur rugs throughout the house were a bit too much for our taste, and cleanliness could improve. We also had no hot water in our room. Overall, we enjoyed the peace, nature, and friendly hospitality. With a bit more focus on cleanliness and some equipment tweaks, the place could be noticeably better.

It was one of the best places I’ve stayed; the rooms were absolutely gorgeous, simple and true to the area’s décor, and the owners were the friendliest and most helpful, making us feel at home and enjoying their company; the garden was huge and beautiful, and the whole stay was relaxing—there was nothing I didn’t like.

“Das Schloss im Wald”

Wir haben mit zwei Familien leider nur eine Nacht hier verbracht. Wir wohnten in einem 2 Bett‑ und einem 3 Bettzimmer. Über eine kleine Straße kommt man auf den Parkplatz und weiter zu dem Haus, was einem Schloss ähnelt und im Wald liegt. Die Zimmer sind toll, traditionell und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und sehr aufgeschlossen. Auf Englisch konnten wir uns über viele Dinge (auch persönliche Dinge) austauschen. Von der Unterkunft aus haben wir eine Wanderung zum Wasserfall unternommen und haben die Straße am Canyon erkundet. Im Ort gibt es kleines Geschäft für Lebensmittel. Zum Abend haben wir natürlich das hauseigene Restaurant genutzt und wurden hervorragend versorgt und beköstigt. Die Nacht war ruhig und die Betten schlafen sich sehr gut. Das Frühstück war typisch albanisch, sehr gut und mehr als ausreichend. Wir kommen gern wieder. Nach einer herzlichen Verabschiedung mussten wir weiter. Vielen Dank
