It felt like a lovely home with free Wi‑Fi and a high sense of security, even though I never saw any staff on hand. The area is quiet, though the street is busy. I stayed just one night, so it worked well for a short visit. Parking was a bit confusing at first. The room was on the older side and the mattresses seemed worn and a touch soft. The spot is a bit off‑the‑beaten‑path; you’ll definitely need a car.

The spot is right next to the Tswassen ferry terminal, so getting to the boats was super easy. The problem is that it’s a house, not a hotel, sitting on a noisy road, and the wooden address sign was broken, making it hard to find after dark.

Calling this place a “Charming Family Hotel” is a joke – it’s really a tiny house with shared bathrooms that don’t look anything like the photos. As soon as we walked in the air was stale and there was a strong urine smell, plus a sign on the door warning us to keep it closed because of rats.

The location is solid and the area is quiet, which made getting around easy. Unfortunately, they didn’t provide basic coffee supplies, only one towel for two people and no face towel at all.

The price was right and the spot is conveniently located, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired and there were no hand towels or tissues available.
