“The location was a perfect stay all round even the weather held out we would stay again next time in Dorset”
The location and view, the hosts, and the food were all great. I can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

The bed was comfy, the owners were helpful, there was plenty of parking, and breakfast was nice. The property was very messy, closed at 7pm, the shower was pretty useless, and it was expensive.

The staff were friendly. There was no food available on a Sunday.

The food and ambience were great; nothing else to add.

The owner was pleasant, the location quiet, and when we managed to eat there the food was very good; the staff were genuinely friendly. However, being sold as a Deluxe Suite was misleading – the annex to the barn held two minimally equipped rooms, and over five days no cleaning or replenishment of supplies took place. We weren’t told the on‑site restaurant would be closed on weekends, leaving us without dinner on Saturday night, nor that construction would start on day three. The “garden view” turned out to be tall grass and two broken benches, though the distant scenery was nice. The fridge, listed as a feature, was so tiny it couldn’t even hold a 0.5 L water bottle. Huge spider webs hung under the bed and at the headboard, apparently there for weeks, which I don’t mind at all.
