“We really enjoy our staying in this hotel. We also reserved two activities from the hotel desktop and both were performe”
Excellent hotel, nice beach, large and clean room, very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast. The Wi‑Fi is definitely not good and needs improvement.
“Very disappointing”
The Full Moon Party is lively and entertaining. The hotel staff are arrogant and rude. The restaurant is infested with wasps (no indoor dining options). The beach activities sold directly by the hotel are overpriced and some, like kayaking, are advertised misleadingly. The beach boys are somehow even ruder than the hotel staff. My dark‑skinned girlfriend was told to cover herself in the restaurant by a receptionist who then allowed a light‑skinned woman in a bikini to enter just minutes later. When I brought up the front‑desk Wi‑Fi problems, the receptionist replied, “yes the Wi‑Fi is down, please don’t call again,” before hanging up. Guest relations were notified of all these issues and offered absolutely nothing in the way of compensation.
“Struttura piacevole ma non aspettatevi servizi, camere e pulizia di un 4 stelle”
The building is nice and well‑located but not very private; outsiders often come in to use the restaurant, beach, and nightly shows with music and acrobats, creating a bit of chaos. Many people come and go on the beach, sunbeds are broken or dirty, towels are sometimes stained, rooms are considered beautiful by the staff but not by Italians, wooden furnishings are always damp, finishes are missing, window plaster is cracked, and some mosquito nets are made of broken iron mesh. Waiting times for meals are extremely long (about 2 hours, 2 hours and a half on average).
“Zanzibar in spiaggia”
The beachfront resort had everything needed for a full‑on vacation, whether you’re after relaxation or activities, and the property was attractive and well‑maintained; our roomy suite included a private outdoor area, the whole resort was very clean, and Wi‑Fi worked everywhere, even almost in the water. The restaurant served food around the clock and the meals were tasty, the bar was well stocked, and a large, friendly staff made the stay even nicer. We also used the spa, which offered excellent services at good prices, and nightly entertainment kept things lively. The beach was crowded but not overwhelming, and fresh towels were supplied daily. However, our room lacked a drying rack for swimsuits and had no hooks to hang towels in the bathroom.
“Séjour magnifique, hôtel à recommander !”
The location is perfect on the beach, rooms are quiet and surrounded by greenery, the entertainment is lovely, and the service is attentive and flawless. The restaurant is excellent and varied. Everything was great, except like the rest of Zanzibar, it’s hard to find newspapers or press, though that isn’t specific to the hotel.
