Close to the city centre and the sea, fairly quiet, lovely rooms, excellent breakfast, we chatted with the host, easy access and parking.

It’s a modern‑style B&B with self‑service check‑in and check‑out. The host texted the gate, door, and room codes on arrival day. The room is modern but compact. We appreciated the cot, but a travel cot would be better so we could take it down at bedtime and store it the next morning, giving the room a bit more space. The coffee machine is a nice touch, and the room was spotless. The private parking is secure. It sits in a good spot in town and is easy to find. We didn’t have breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. The walls are very thin, so it’s not ideal for a light sleeper; I could hear another guest snoring. The shower is the worst I’ve ever had—no water pressure at all. The whole bathroom could use an update, though it was clean. If the shower were better, we’d consider staying again.

The location was perfect for what we wanted to do, and we didn’t have to be right in the centre of Bundoran because we wanted to relax and enjoy the scenic walks. I wouldn’t change a thing; I was so happy with the accommodation that I even wondered what mattress we were on, as it was very comfortable and a nice break from work.
