The bed was great – super comfy and the room felt snug and private. The only hiccup was the shower; it’s a bit cramped and not the most convenient.

Loved the stay – the welcome was friendly, breakfast tasty, and the chalet itself was cozy with a good bed. It’s tucked away in beautiful nature, so you can cycle or walk for miles without traffic, spotting pheasants, sheep, rabbits, ducks, birds, deer, and more. The riverside rides along the Schelde and Durme were a treat, with nice little cafés along the way. The only downside? Hot water only in the shower, so you’re stuck with short showers.

The place had a real cozy, lovingly decorated vibe, and the host was super friendly and helpful. It’s right by a pond, with a veranda and a swing – perfect for a relaxed day. The downside? No tap water (though they did leave a bottle), no kitchenette, and the bathroom sink is tiny – barely fits your hands.

The spot was top-notch – great walks, beautiful surroundings, and complete silence. One thing that would have made it even better: a couple of small plates with cutlery so you could munch on a snack.
