The lodge was beautiful, the room very comfortable, and the restaurant inside was convenient. Our TV remote stopped working; I took it to reception and they swapped it for another, but that still didn’t work. The next night, a lady came to our room and set up the TV for us; she was very helpful.

I loved the rooms, the staff, the restaurant, the path to the river, and the views. The beds were a bit low and a bit hard for me, but that’s just a personal preference.

The on‑site restaurant offered great food at good prices. The phone system never connects you to a person, making it impossible to talk to hotel staff by phone. The new key‑card system also isn’t working properly, but they said both issues were just “bugs” being fixed.

I liked the location, but the toilet wouldn’t flush, so I had to fix it after being told to hold the handle. The ice maker was broken, forcing me to go to Kirchen for ice, and overall the place feels pretty outdated for the price.
